Where does Roomfeel work?

Roomfeel is piloting in Knoxville, Tennessee. Elsewhere it offers to browse Knoxville so you can see how it works. Places are not listed outside the pilot area yet.

Why does a place say “Not yet described”?

Roomfeel gets names, addresses, hours and phone numbers from OpenStreetMap, which has no information about how a room feels. It does not guess. Open the place and tap Describe it to say what it is like and add a photo. Only you see that description, and it helps Roomfeel match places to your mood.

A place is wrong, closed or missing

Place details come from OpenStreetMap, a free map edited by volunteers, so a place can be out of date. Anyone can fix it at openstreetmap.org, which also corrects it for every other app that uses the map. You can also email us.

Where are the photos from?

Street photos of the outside come from Apple Maps Look Around where Apple has coverage, and they can show a neighbouring building. Roomfeel has no photos of room interiors. The photos you add are yours and stay on your iPhone.

How do I delete my data?

Open the place and choose Remove to delete one description and its photo. In the You tab, Erase everything on this device removes everything Roomfeel stores. Roomfeel has no account and no server, so there is nothing else to delete.

Why is there no weather, or no listings?

Both need an internet connection. Weather comes from the US National Weather Service and shows only when it loads. The listings lookup can be turned off in Filters.
