Site privacy
This page covers this website. Each app has its own privacy policy, linked from its page, because the apps and the site collect different things.
What the site counts
The site keeps anonymous page counts so I can see which pages and buttons people use. Each visit records the page address, the label of any button you click (for example "Swish Notch, App Store"), the website you came from (the host name only, such as google.com), and the date. That is all.
- No cookies, no local storage for tracking, and no accounts.
- No IP address, browser details or personal identifier is stored by the counters, and visits cannot be tied to a person.
- If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted. Visits from bots are ignored.
- The counts are totals per day, kept in my own Cloudflare database, and are never sold or shared.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles each request and may keep technical logs such as IP addresses for security and operations, under its own privacy policy. I do not use those logs to identify visitors.
Other companies you may meet
- Apple. The App Store links and the official Mac App Store badge go to or load from Apple. Apple's privacy policy applies to that.
- VendorCAD and Looking Glass. The VendorCAD page links to vendorcad.com, which has its own privacy policy and cookie notice.
- Fonts, images and videos on this site are hosted on the site itself, not loaded from other companies, except Apple's badge.
Launch list
If you join the "get a ping at launch" list on the home page, I store your email address and the date you signed up, in my own Cloudflare database. I use it to email you when a new app is released, and nothing else. It is never sold or shared. Reply "stop" to any email, or write to contact@camdenburke.co.uk, and I delete it.
If you email contact@camdenburke.co.uk, I use your message and address only to reply and keep the thread while it is useful. Ask me to delete it any time.
Your choices
You can ask what I hold about you (for site visits the answer is nothing that identifies you) and ask me to delete correspondence. Email contact@camdenburke.co.uk.
