Card table
These are card games I have made for iPhone. Every rule from the rulebook is in, the computer players play to win at three levels, and each game has a table built for it. They are not released yet, so they appear here without their names.
-
A climbing game for two
Beat the last play or pass. Sets, runs, six kinds of bomb, wild face cards and a bet on going out first. The computer player knows when to save a bomb.
-
A duel for favour
Two players, seven patrons, four secret actions a round. Every offer you make hands your rival a choice, and the computer player weighs each one.
-
Trick-taking with bids
Ten rounds. Say how many tricks you will take, then take exactly that many, with special cards that can turn a trick upside down. Two to six players.
-
Collect, then call it
Collect pairs and sets, play pairs for their effects, and decide when to end the round, or gamble on one more turn against everyone else.
-
Build one city together
Choose a card, build it into the city, pass the rest. Three scoring goals change every game, and you win by beating the target. Play alone or with up to three computer partners.
-
A solo fruit puzzle
Lay each card so its trees overlap the same fruit, raise the harvest dice, and spend rotten fruit only when you must. A new deal every day, the same for everyone.
-
Take a row, or add to one
Collect colours, but only your best three score and the rest count against you. Two to five players, with a symbol on every colour for colour-blind players.
-
Bid, then build
Win cards in a bidding round, then stack them into towers by strict building rules, and tear a top card down when a tower is stuck.
In every game
- The full rules, as the rulebook has them, including the odd ones people forget
- Computer players at three levels, from relaxed to sharp, that play to win
- A table designed for that game, not a template with new cards on it
A board game to play now
Series Z is a strategy board game about building an AI company, and it is free to play in your browser.
Roll two dice and keep one, buy assets, and bargain with three rivals who remember who burned them. After ten rounds the highest company value wins. It has a 3D board, a suggested move whenever you want one, and a Casual level for a first game.
There is no sign-up, and nothing leaves your device: the rivals run in your browser and your saved matches stay in it.
